While a student at the University of California, Los Angeles, Eleanor Walden submitted this paper with the intention of making a video presentation of the events of the Armistice Day tragedy on November 11, 1919 in Centralia, Washington--an oral history of I.W.W. member Joe Murphy. This is a retyped copy of the original submission, a photocopy is on file in the Kirk Library, Centralia College.
