Description
In the January 15, 1930 and September 17, 1930 editions of the New Republic, several letters between Washington State Governor Roland H. Hartley and Mrs. Kate Crane-Gartz of Pasadena, California were published. They elicited a response from Pulitzer Prize-winning prolific American author, Upton Sinclair.
